AMCOS ODOLESS is a specially formulated high performance smooth interior emulsion with very low VOC. It is formulated with world class ecofriendly additives which gives better durability. AMCOS ODOLESS is friendly to kids, allergic persons and is free from ammonia, heavy metals.

Directions Of use

Mix well AMCOS ODOLESS with water in recommended dilution ratio. Apply first coat and allow to dry for 4-6 hours. After complete drying, apply second coat of ODOLESS and allow to dry

Surfaces Preperation

Surface should be completely cured and free form dust, moisture, grease or loose particles. Any algal fungal growth should be properly removed and cleaned with bio wash to prevent the growth. Cracks should be properly sealed (Hairline cracks using AMCOS MASTER SEAL, cracks up to 2 mm using AMCOS SEAL AND FILL and cracks above 2 mm should be addressed by civil maintenance work). Ensure that the surface is prepared well before starting the application.

If an undulation free smooth finish is required, apply AMCOS ACRYLIC WALLPUTY/SILKY FINISH WALL PUTTY as per the application procedure, allow to dry, sand and wipe clean to geta smooth finish.

Apply 1 coat of AMCOS PLASTER SEALER/ AMCOS WALL PRIMER INTERIOR as per application procedure.

Safety

  • Wear masks, gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing while handling and application of paint.
  • Keep out of reach of children and away from eatables.
  • Store paints away from direct sunlight, heat open fire & water.
  • Do not pour the leftover paints in drains. Dispose off the paint left overs and containers as per local regulations.
  • Splashes on skin should be cleaned with a suitable solvent, washed off with soap and water.
  • ln case of any accidental ingestion or contact with eye, seek immediate medical attention.
  • Lead content does not exceed 90 ppm.

How To Use?

Clean the surface to be painted using sand paper or Emery paper.

As for re-painting, keep the surface clean by removing the old paint and other particles completely.

If there are any cracks, holes or gaps on the surface, use Amcos Master seal to fill them.

Use Amcos Silky Finish Wall Putty to make the surface plain & smooth. After 4 – 6 hrs, you can make the surface clean by using sand paper or Emery paper.

Next step is to apply Primer coat. Use Amcos Plaster Sealer or Amcos Cement Primer for this. Wait for 6 – 8 hrs to let primer coat dry.

Dilute Amcos Odoless Emulsion up to 30 %- 40 % and use it up to 2-3 coats as per need. There must be an interval of 6 – 8 hrs between each coating.

Points to Note

  • Mix well before use.
  • It is advisable to strain before application.
  • Actual coverage may vary depending upon the method and conditions of application, surface conditions, application skill, surface roughness and porosity, selected shades etc.
  • Stability of thinned paint – 24 hours.
  • Darker shades may require an additional coat for complete coverage.
  • It is highly recommended to apply three coats on all horizontal surfaces for an extra protection.
  • Do not apply on damp and uncured walls directly. On mild damp wall and fresh walls it is highly recommended to apply one coat of AMCOS PLASTER SEALER.
  • Hairline cracks can be filled by AMCOS MASTER SEAL. Cracks up to 2 mm can be filled by AMCOS SEAL AND FILL. Cracks above 2 mm should be addressed by civil work.
  • Recoat period is quoted for 25°C and 50% Relative Humidity, these may vary under different conditions.
  • The paint film required at least one week time for complete curing under normal atmospheric conditions.
  • Actual paint shade may slightly vary from printed shade card .
  • It is advisable to check and maintain the diluted paints consistency in certain intervals based on atmospheric conditions to avoid application issues such as poor finish and less coverage due to solvent evaporation.
  • Keep the container tightly closed after opening to prevent drying.
  • Shelf life: 3 years from date of manufacture in original tightly closed containers away from direct sunlight and excessive heat
