About

AMCOS plaster sealer is a water based sealer specially designed with superior quality emulsion to provide excellent penetration and sealing of the plastered surface. Plaster sealer effectively prevent eorescence. The sealing property give better finish and better coverage to the topcoat

Directions Of use

Mix well AMCOS PLASTER SEALER with water in recommended dilution ratio. Apply one coat and allow to dry for 4-6 hours. After complete drying follow the desired painting system.

Surfaces Preperation

Surface should be free form dust, grease or loose particles. Any algal fungal growth should be properly removed and cleaned with bio wash to prevent the growth. Cracks should be properly sealed (Hairline cracks using AMCOS MASTER SEAL, cracks up to 2 mm using AMCOS SEAL AND FILL and cracks above 2 mm should be addressed by civil maintenance work).Ensure that the surface is prepared well before starting the application

Technical Data

Dilution : 50% with clean and fresh water
Coverage : 170 – 180 sq.ft./ltr/coat
Surface dry : 30 minutes
Hard dry : 6 hours

Safety

  • Wear masks, gloves, safety goggles and protective clothing while handling and application of paint.
  • Keep out of reach of children and away from eatables
  •  Store paints away from direct sunlight, heat open fire and water.
  •  Do not pour the leftover paints in drains. Dispose off the paint left overs and containers as per local regulations.
  •  Splashes on skin should be cleaned with a suitable solvent, washed off with soap and water.
  •  ln case of any accidental ingestion or contact with eye, seek immediate medical attention.
  •  Lead content does not exceed 90 ppm.

How ToUse

  • Clean the surface using sand paper or Emery paper (180).
  • Apply a coat of Amcos Plaster sealer diluted with 50% water.
  • More finishing and coverage could be gained on Top coating if used after applying Putty.

Points to Note

  • Mix well before use.
  •  It is advisable to strain before application.
  •  Actual coverage may vary depending upon the method and conditions of application, surface conditions, application skill, surface roughness and porosity etc.
  •  Stability of thinned paint – 24 hours.
  •  Hairline cracks can be filled by AMCOS MASTER SEAL. Cracks up to 2 mm can be filled by AMCOS SEAL AND FILL Cracks above 2 mm should be addressed by civil work.
  •  It is advisable to check and maintain the diluted paints consistency in certain intervals based on atmospheric conditions to avoid application issues such as poor finish and less coverage due to solvent evaporation.
  •  Keep the container tightly closed after opening to prevent drying.
  •  Shelf life: 3 years from date of manufacture in original tightly closed containers away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
