How To Use?

Wipe away grease, oil etc. completely from the surface and make it clean before applying Amcos Am-Poxy.

If the surface is smooth, use Emery paper to rub and make it rough so as to make it more adhesive.

Use Amcos Thinner 110P (10% - !5%) to dilute Amcos Am-poxy according to the usage and quantity needed. Be careful while diluting, as the imperfect proportion of dilution may affect durability and opacity.

Two coat painting is recommended. There must be an interval of at least 6 hrs between two coats of painting.

Available in 500 ml, 1 Liter & 4 Liter Tins.

Grey, Silver grey, black colors etc. could be used as both Finish coat & Primer Coat. Red & Sink Phosphate (white & yellow) should only be used as Primer coat.

Points to Note

  • Mix well before use.
  • It is advisable to strain before application.
  •  Actual coverage may vary depending upon the method and conditions of application, surface conditions, application skill, surface roughness and porosity, selected shades etc.
  •  Darker shades may require an additional coat for complete coverage.
  •  Recoat period is quoted for 25°C and 50% relative humidity, these may vary under different conditions.
  •  It is advisable to check and maintain the diluted paints consistency in certain intervals based on atmospheric conditions to avoid application issues such as poor finish and less coverage due to solvent evaporation.
  •  Actual paint shade may slightly vary from printed shade card.
  •  The paint film required at least one week time for complete curing under normal atmospheric conditions.
  •  Keep the container tightly closed after opening to prevent drying.
  •  For repainting, always check the adhesion and compatibility on a small area.
  •  As all epoxy coatings tend to chalk in highly exposed exterior surfaces, it is strongly recommended to have a good quality top coat for long lasting protection
